Category Menu with Subcategories

We want a woocommerce product menu with catagories and subcategories which only show once a visitor has clicked on the categorie. All categories and sub categories are loaded into the database using REST API functions. Subcategories are linked to the categories and the products are linked to the categories.

How can this menu be achieved/configured?

Hi,

1. Woocommerce only provides the function to save the product just viewed, there is no function to save the product list that the customer has clicked.

2. We don’t have experience with REST API, so unfortunately can’t advise you

my question is not about the API but about the way the categories and subcategories are displayed in the theme. We don’t want to see categories which dont have any subcategories and no subcategories which don’t have any products. So if number of products is 0, dont show the categories.
