“The preview could not be loaded” when trying to edit a page with Elementor

I get this error on some pages, but not all. How do I fix this?

Cart, Checkout, My account, Shop page use Woocommerce shortcodes so you cannot edit with Elementor: https://prnt.sc/11s730x

If you want to edit with elementor, you need to use template elementor

These pages use default woocommerce code, you cannot edit these pages with Elementor, it will not load content when you edit.

Watching the video for the shop page, it seems I need to re-create the whole page. Is there no way to edit the existing page?

I thought the whole point of a template is that it is already created?

Hi,

You need to delete all the settings of the page shop, cart, checkout, my account in the woocommerce settings before you can customize by Elementor for the content of the pages.

I tried with a fresh install of woocommerce and still can’t view the shop page in elementor to edit. It seems crazy that there’s no way to edit the most important page, and the only solution is to build a new page from scratch.

Can I get a refund, please?
