How to update theme?

HI, Recently got an updated theme and my site is up and running from the last 3months. How can i update them without losing my date or orders?

Hi there,

Backup your site when update the theme. All your data will not be lost when updating the theme. However custom code in the theme will be lost if you customize it directly in the main theme (not a child-theme).
