    While doing a checkout, I am getting the following DB error. What could be the cause?
    As the earlier site was slow, I installed a new instance in http://www.searchmyestate.com with the Home2 ..Now the performance is better..But this issue with the DB is bothering me.
    SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away

    I am noticing this error of DB when the User is Logged in .. If the user is not logged in, it goes on to place the order.

    This error is related to your server, please check the database on your server
