    Hi Support,
Downloaded the theme zip file, I extracted.
I can see Themes-20220228T060917Z-001->Themes->themeforest-yHOxApzn-freshio-organic-food-store-wordpress-theme.zip->freshio-full->Four folders and 1 zip folder…Which file should be uploaded.

    HI,
Child theme is installed by default and activated and actual theme file is at rest, currently child theme is activated and changes are made on this, what is the design, how it works and why the child theme is active instead of actual theme file?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

Child-theme is installed to customize your website and make sure these customizations are not lost when you update the main theme.

    You can readmore at https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/

    Hi,
So as per the design, changes happen with child theme only?
Also how to ensure when updating the parent theme the child theme stuffs are safe, whata are the ways to keep it safe?
    Thanks!

    Hi again,

The customizations include custom css, custom code functions from the main theme written in style.css file (with custom css) and functions.php file (customize code)
When writing customizations to the child-theme will not affect the main theme when you update the new version.

Other customizations related to the database are not dependent on the child-theme
