Vertical menu

Hi, we’re running into an issue on the vertical menu.
We’re using product categories, on the menu widget.
We associate an icon to each category and on some added the mega-menu, but if we don’t have a custom link on that menu any of the icons and mega-menus are displayed.
On the print below we show how it’s displaying with a test custom link and without.
How can we solve this issue?

Inside the product detail page, how can remove the comparation section?
Is there any option on the theme options? Or any plugin that we have the disable to remove that section?

For menu items without submenu, you just need to select the menu icon and turn off Mega submenu: https://prnt.sc/OkDxK-I55GlF

The best way to avoid these problems is to use the Menu Image plugin instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-image/
