    Hi,

    Can anyone assist with or send instructions for updating the Shopic theme?

    I have version 2.2.0 installed and Shopic Child is the active theme.

    ok, so I downloaded and installed v 2.2.9 successfully

    but the child theme still shows v. 2.2.0

    what’s next?

    The child-theme version is not related to the main-theme version.
    Child-theme is a theme for you to customize the code without affecting the main-theme and not losing it when you update the main theme. You can manually adjust the child-theme version to suit and not depend on the version of the main-theme.

    So are you saying that I am up to date in the current configuration that I’ve described or do I need to do something to the child theme?

    No, you don’t have to worry about it. If there is any custom editable in child-theme.
